Leading the program's move from ClearCase to GitLab

What I did

Planned the program's migration from ClearCase to GitLab, worked out the infrastructure each team needed, and wrote the migration tooling and scripts. Four of the program's roughly 12 software teams are moving their repositories, with full version history preserved.

Result

The tooling works in both ClearCase and GitLab, so teams can adopt Git gradually instead of switching all at once. GitLab merge requests replaced separate code review tools, and new engineers need less source control training.
